| Summary - Success Story: |
| I started getting lower back pain after a long flight to London, gradually the pain became more severe and started traveling down my right thigh, it developed into sciatica. It got to the point that I could not feel the bottom of my right foot. When I went to the doctor they performed an MRI and saw that there was a slipped disc in my lower back (L5 – S1), they recommended that I undergo surgery. As surgery was my last option, I decided to undergo physical therapy. During the session I received massages, warm ultrasound to my back and thigh, and a lot of stretching. After around 3 months the condition started improving and today I am pain free, and able to do anything. The disc is still slipped, but I developed stomach and back muscles to support my spine. |
